HOW IT WORKS

Simple Process. Serious Results.

Sloped is built around one idea:

Design & Technical Delegation should be Organized, Familiar, and Predictable from the first submission to the final payment.

Here is how we do it.

Step 1 — Submit Your Project

Every engagement starts with a project submission.
As a Sloped Partner or Member you access that starting point directly from our website via the “Project Submission Form”.

After logging in, You begin by selecting your contract type.

There are three types:

Project Contract - A timeline based engagement with a defined scope, budget, and milestones. Best for single documentation projects with a clearly defined deliverable and timeline. Includes an hourly rate for any work that falls outside the agreed scope.

Hourly Contract - Best for single project engagements where scope and timeline are difficult to define upfront. You define the tasks, skills and software needed, and the hourly rate you are willing to pay. Work proceeds as needed without a fixed endpoint.

Long Term Contract - For ongoing relationships spanning multiple projects. Ideal for businesses that want a consistent go-to professional available across an extended period. Requires only a defined skill set and range of tasks with a defined hourly rate to get started.

Once you submit the form it populates our internal system and our team is alerted immediately to engage the matching process with earnest (Earnest is not a person, it’s an attitude).

Step 2 — The Matching Process

This is where Sloped earns its value.

We don't publish your project to a pool of candidates and wait for proposals.

We partner with you and do the work.

Our team reviews your submission and identifies the right professional from our curated network — matched to your software, your project type, and your workflow needs. In many cases we have already begun the matching process for you before you even submit a new project.

Once we have identified the right match, we assign that person to your project and then both you and the professional receive an introduction email. That email includes a full review of your new contract details and clear instructions for the next phase.

Most projects are matched within 48 hours. Sloped Members receive priority matching — typically within 24 hours.

Step 3 — Align on Final Terms

After the introduction you and your matched professional connect directly via email to review and finalize the contract terms. This is your opportunity to ask questions, clarify scope, and confirm the parameters of the relationship before any work begins.

Sloped provides the structure the relationship. You and your professional use that structure to align yourselves on the final details.

Step 4 — Work Begins!

Once terms are aligned your professional gets to work.

They already know your software. They already understand the project scope. The goal is minimal ramp up and maximum productivity from day one.

Sloped steps back at this point. The relationship between you and your professional is direct, efficient, and uninterrupted — unless either party needs us.

If at any point the engagement isn't working as expected, Sloped is available to both parties. We step in, assess the situation, and find a path forward — including rematch if necessary.

Step 5 — Invoicing and Payments

When payment is due your professional submits an invoice directly through Sloped. You receive an email with a secure payment link.

Every payment is processed through Sloped. This keeps the financial relationship clean, documented, and protected for both parties.

Invoicing can occur at any milestone, on a regular schedule, or at project completion depending on your contract type. The cycle continues for the duration of the engagement.

Step 6 — Contract Conclusion

Projects conclude when deliverables are complete and final invoices are settled.

Long Term contracts continue until both parties agree the engagement has run its course.

Throughout every engagement, your contract details, invoices, and project history are maintained in our system — giving you a clean record of every Sloped engagement your office has completed.
